Saved Views

Save filter presets on list pages so you can switch between different views of your data with one click.

Saved views let you save your current filter settings on any list page and recall them later. Instead of re-applying the same filters every time you open a page, save the combination as a named view and load it with one click.

How It Works

Most list pages in Itsy have a filter bar at the top. When you apply filters (date ranges, statuses, categories, assignees, and so on), you can save that combination as a view. The next time you visit the page, load your saved view to instantly apply those filters again. Views also remember your export configuration (selected columns and row mode), so exported reports match your saved filter setup.

A bookmark icon appears in the filter bar on supported pages. Click it to open the saved views popover where you can load, create, and manage your views.

Creating a View

  1. Apply the filters you want on a supported list page
  2. Click the bookmark icon in the filter bar
  3. Click + Save current
  4. Enter a name for the view (e.g., "This week's confirmed orders")
  5. Optionally check Share with workspace to make the view visible to your team
  6. Optionally check Make default for me to load this view automatically when you visit the page
  7. Click Save

Loading a View

  1. Click the bookmark icon on a supported page
  2. Your saved views appear in a list — click any view to apply its filters immediately
  3. A checkmark appears next to the active view

When a view is active, the bookmark icon indicates its name. If you change filters after loading a view, a dot appears on the icon to indicate unsaved changes.

Updating a View

If you modify filters while a view is active and you own the view, the popover shows a Save changes option. Click it to overwrite the view with your current filter settings.

Managing Views

When you hover over a view, action buttons appear depending on your permissions:

  • Copy — Duplicate the view as a private copy for yourself (available on all views).
  • Star — Toggle the view as your default for that page. A default view loads automatically each time you visit the page. Only available on views you own.
  • Share — Toggle sharing with your workspace. Shared views are visible to all team members (indicated by a people icon). Only available on views you own.
  • Delete — Remove the view. Available on views you own, and on any shared view if you are a workspace admin. A confirmation prompt warns whether the deletion affects only you or everyone.

To stop using a view without deleting it, click Clear in the popover header. This removes the active view and returns the page to its unfiltered state.

Shared Views

When you share a view, all team members in your workspace see it in their saved views list. Shared views show a people icon next to the name and an attribution line showing who created them.

Any workspace Admin can save over and delete any shared view, not just the original author. When a non-owner admin saves changes to a shared view, the sharing and default settings are preserved -- only the filters are updated. Non-admin team members can load shared views but must save a copy to make changes.

Deleting a shared view removes it for everyone. A confirmation prompt warns "Delete [name] for everyone?" before proceeding.

This is useful for establishing standard views your team uses regularly -- for example, a "Departing this week" view on the orders page that everyone checks daily. Admins can keep shared views up to date without needing the original author.

Default Views

Mark a view as your default so it loads automatically when you open that page. You can have one default view per page. Default views show a star icon next to the name.

To change your default, star a different view or unstar the current one.

How It Connects

  • Search — Use search to find individual records; use saved views to filter entire lists.
  • Assignments — Combine an "assigned to me" filter with a saved view to create a personal work queue on any list page.
  • Reports — Save complex report filter combinations as views to run recurring reports with one click.
