Cosmetic updates to prepare for the launch later this month. Yes, this month will be the official launch of Itsy. The templates also got some work this week, by adding the rates functionality and starting work on creating orders from templates directly.
We've been working on making subscription restrictions consistent across the platform, revamping the signup page for our official launch, adding Posthog to track usage and behavior, and giving users the ability to delete promocodes and automations. These updates are all about improving the user experience, streamlining functionality, and preparing for Itsy's full launch. A lot has been completed this week. The trip templates are now live and almost ready to be used fully in all contexts. Before I can complete the process of using the templates, I needed to improve the create order process. That is completed and it's much more powerful than it was.
Writing this on Friday the 13th, but no bad luck here hopefully! No big updates this week, but the trip templates are almos complete and will be released next week. This is a big feature that will make it easier to create trips and orders in Itsy.
This week and next week I am focusing on trip templates. The templates will be a big new feature in Itsy and will make it easier for users to create trips based on a template and create orders directly from the template as well.
Some weeks are not full of new features or big deployments, but rather a week of cleanup, optimization, and bug fixes. This week was one of those weeks. I have been working in simplifying the code and structure if Itsy these last few weeks, and this week was no exception.
Planning is so important. That is why I spent the week planning stuff. No big deployments, just planning. The future is exciting and there are some very interesting things coming up in the near future.
This week, I focused on enhancing the public booking process by implementing the booking conditions and settings I developed last week, improving the final payment step, and updating the layout to include new features like displaying the workspace currency. Additionally, I addressed some bug fixes and am pleased with the progress made.
